Privacy
What this website collects, where it goes, and who can read it.
Browsing the site
You can read every page here without giving us anything. There are no advertising trackers, no analytics scripts and no cookie banner, because there are no cookies to ask you about.
Sermons are hosted on YouTube. If you click through to watch one, you are on YouTube’s website and their terms apply, not ours.
When you send us a message
The contact form asks for a few things. Your name, an email address and your message are required, so we can reply.
- What it is about
- Whether you are asking about visiting, asking for prayer, or something else. This is just so the right person reads it.
- Your name
- Required, so we know who we are replying to.
- Your email address
- Required, so we can reply to you.
- Your phone number
- Optional. Add it if you would rather we rang.
- Your message
- Required.
Where it goes
Your message is saved to the church’s own database, which is hosted by Supabase. It is not emailed to anyone, not posted anywhere on this website, and not passed to any other organisation.
Only people the church has specifically given admin access to can read enquiries. The website itself cannot read them back: the database is configured so that messages can be written in but not read out by the public site.
What you write is never copied into analytics or into the website’s error logs. If sending fails, the site records only that a message failed to save — never the message itself, your name or your contact details.
How long we keep it
Messages stay in the church’s database until somebody at the church deletes them. We have not set an automatic deletion date, and we would rather say that plainly than claim a schedule we do not actually run.
If you would like your message deleted, ask and we will delete it.
Photographs
The photographs on this site are of our own church, shared with the permission of the people in them. If you appear in one and would rather not, tell us and we will take it down.
Asking us about any of this
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Get in touch and we will sort it out.
