Questions people ask.

What do people usually wear?

Whatever you feel comfortable in. Most people dress casually.

Can I bring my children?

Absolutely. Children are very welcome.

Sunday school is available during the service, or they can stay with you if they would prefer.

And do not worry if they make a little noise — families are part of church life.

We are part of Assemblies of God New Zealand, which provides Safer Churches guidance to help churches care for and protect children and young people.

About Safer Churches
Is the building accessible?

Yes. There is a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a lift to the first floor, so you can reach the Bradford Room without using the stairs.

Will I have to do anything?

No. There is no pressure to participate.

You are welcome to sit wherever you like, simply listen, and leave afterwards if you want to.

What happens afterwards?

We usually have morning tea after the service. You are welcome to stay for a cup of tea or coffee, something to eat, and a chat — or head off whenever you are ready.

If you would like prayer, someone from the church would also be very happy to pray with you after the service.

How long does the service last?

Around 1 hour and 15 minutes.

The service starts at 10.30am and usually finishes around 11.45am.

Still wondering about something?

Send us a message or call before Sunday. We’re happy to help.

You’re welcome to come as you are.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
